X (Twitter) Integration

Sumary: Implement your X (Twitter) account integration for automated content publishing from the iCortex Engineering Revenue Ecosystem.

Just as we show you how you can Compose Architectures for your social networks (Facebook and Instagram), you can also do so for your X (formerly Twitter) account.

In this section, we show you how to integrate your X account and activate publishing so that it deploys automatically on this social network.

Configuration Location

To configure your notifications and have them appear on your X network, perform the following steps.

1. Enter the main menu and select the ‘Campaign Orchestration’ option:

2. Configure your Architecture just as we show you here.

3. When you reach Step 4: ‘Expand your campaign reach’, toggle the switch to publish on X:

Granting Permissions

1. Upon activating the switch, the system automatically redirects you to X to continue the integration. Confirm that you wish to grant permission by clicking ‘Authorize app’:

2. Once you have granted permission, a window will appear with a message indicating that the connection between both applications was successful:

3. Close the page and continue with your notification configuration, following the step-by-step guide we explain in this section.

4. When you have reached step 5 of the Architecture configuration, you are ready to perform Campaign Orchestration. Click the green button to finish:

5. Remember to check the preview window to see how the message will look on your X feed:

6. This is how your notifications look once published on X. The implementation is efficient.

That is all; your campaigns will be published to your X account, and your brand reach will be boosted. If you wish to revoke the publishing permission, we explain how to do so below.

Revoking Permissions on X

1. From your X account, enter the ‘Settings and privacy’ section in the main menu:

2. Next, select the ‘Security and account access’ option:

3. Look for the ‘Apps and sessions’ option and click there:

4. Now, click on the ‘Connected apps’ option:

5. The list of applications you have integrated with your X account should appear there; select ‘iCortex’:

6. Finally, click the ‘Revoke app permissions’ button:

Note: remember that you can always reactivate the connection between your iCortex Engineering Revenue Ecosystem and your X account.
