Revenue Recovery Prime

Sumary: The advanced Revenue Recovery functionality is designed for those abandonment cases that do not respond to the first contact attempt. Its implementation is detailed below.

When a Profile abandons a purchase, each time interval reduces the probability of completing the transaction. The initial recovery layer (via notifications and browser messages) offers support, but a portion of potential revenue remains unrealized.

The advanced Revenue Recovery functionality addresses this situation by incorporating two powerful action vectors: a second strategic stimulus and the activation of channels such as SMS and WhatsApp, media that guarantee a higher immediate view rate. Its operational utility and configuration protocol are explained. Let us proceed.

Definition of Revenue Recovery Prime

Revenue Recovery Prime is designed to manage persistent abandonment cases that do not react to the first contact attempt. After 16 or 40 hours (depending on the defined parameterization), the system automatically activates a second, higher-value stimulus directly to the Profile’s device.

The distinction between the standard and advanced implementation lies in the tenacity and the channels employed. While the former is restricted to an email reminder and browser notifications, the advanced version adds a second attempt with greater impact, distributed via WhatsApp and SMS.

Activation of Revenue Recovery Prime

The parameterization of Revenue Recovery Prime is a straightforward process. Follow these operational steps:

  • Access iCortex and navigate to the Dashboard.
  • In the side menu, select Strategic Cycles and access Revenue Recovery /.
  • Locate the existing configuration for revenue recovery and the initial stimulus. Scroll to the section designated to configure ‘Revenue Recovery Prime‘.
  • Configure the second stimulus. Select the incentive type under ‘Discount Type’. Regardless of the type selected, you must enter a coupon code representative of the incentive. This code must be generated previously in your e-commerce system. Likewise, define the activation time.
  • Once completed, execute the ‘Save Configuration‘ action. The parameterization will be finalized.
  • The Revenue Recovery Prime configuration will be operational.

Components of this Revenue Recovery version

Revenue Recovery Prime integrates two communication vectors: WhatsApp and SMS. SMS is activated by default when configuring the functionality. Activation of WhatsApp delivery requires specific configuration; consult the connection protocol: WhatsApp Connection.

In addition to the supplementary channels, the main advantage is the ability to deploy a second differentiated stimulus. This convergence of channels and messages optimizes the probabilities of transactional success.

The Secondary Stimulus

The secondary stimulus does not constitute a mere reiteration; it is a strategic instrument. It can be scheduled for activation at 16 hours (optimal for short-cycle acquisitions) or 40 hours (for higher-value assets).

It is recommended that this stimulus possess a higher intensity than the first. For example, if the initial stimulus was 10%, the second can be configured at 15 or 20%. Alternatively, a different incentive that complements the initial one can be implemented, such as ‘Free Shipping‘.

The system will automatically verify the Profile’s payment status before distribution, preventing redundant communications. To establish the stimulus, generate a coupon code in your e-commerce platform and assign it in the Revenue Recovery Prime configuration.

Relevance of SMS in Revenue Recovery

SMS appears directly on the mobile device’s main interface, without algorithmic filters or secondary folders. Used in conjunction with a strategically designed stimulus, it consolidates as your primary asset for rescuing transactions that were considered lost.

SMS is fundamental when the Profile has not accepted browser notifications or does not check their emails. Furthermore, its position in the device’s notification hierarchy is consistently superior.
