The iCortex™ now automates this scrubbing function. This eliminates the need for manual intervention, safeguarding your operation and ensuring that Campaign Orchestration is directed exclusively to Segments with demonstrated intent. The implementation protocol is detailed below.

Automatic Scrubbing Configuration Protocol in iCortex™

Activating this functionality requires the execution of the following steps:

  • Access the iCortex™ environment and locate the main dashboard.
  • In the side navigation panel, select the “Segments” section.
  • Proceed to click on “Profile Database“.
  • In the Profile Database interface, identify and activate the “Scrubbing” command.
  • A configuration panel will deploy where the inactivity threshold for exclusion is defined: 12 months (Conservative Setting), 6 months (Moderate Setting), and 3 months (Aggressive Setting). Select the parameter aligned with your business cycle.
  • Confirm the selection using the “Save” command.

The Profile scrubbing system is now configured and operational.

Selecting the Optimal Scrubbing Period

The selection of the time interval must correlate with the nature of the product or service offered. The 3-month period represents a high-friction strategy, recommended for one-time transactions or goods with multi-year replacement cycles.

The 6-month period is classified as moderate. It is ideal for recurring consumer goods, such as apparel or periodic supplies.

The 12-month option is recommended for preserving a broad contact base and mitigating the loss of long-term opportunities. This interval is suitable for business models with extensive acquisition cycles or prolonged loyalty strategies.

Deletion Execution Mechanism

Once activated, the iCortex™ engine will execute the systematic deletion of the following elements:

  • Invalid email addresses. Non-existent or permanently deactivated accounts.
  • Inactive Profiles. Those that have not registered interaction within the defined time frame.
  • Invalid push notification endpoints. Devices that no longer receive transmissions.

The execution of this process is asynchronous, operating in the background without requiring operational intervention. This ensures a database that is constantly scrubbed and optimized for segmentation.

Evaluation of Reduced Timeframes for Cost Optimization

Some operators consider configuring very strict timeframes (e.g., 3 months) with the goal of reducing the volume of the Profile base and mitigating costs associated with transmission. However, this approach generates marginal savings compared to the inherent risk of discarding potential future revenue.

In most business architectures, it is recommended to maintain a balance by selecting 6 or 12 months. The final determination rests on your business model.
