{"id":2630,"date":"2025-02-18T19:45:16","date_gmt":"2025-02-18T19:45:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/es.notificationbutton.com\/help\/?post_type=docs&#038;p=2630"},"modified":"2025-02-28T15:14:59","modified_gmt":"2025-02-28T15:14:59","slug":"using-filters-to-segment-my-subscribers","status":"publish","type":"docs","link":"https:\/\/icortex.ai\/help\/en\/audience-segmentation\/using-filters-to-segment-my-subscribers\/","title":{"rendered":"Using filters to segment my subscribers"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>The subscriber filter is a powerful tool on our platform<\/strong>; it not only helps us see which products have more reach or engagement but also lets us do effective niche marketing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In this article, we\u2019re going to show you <strong>how to filter our subscribers<\/strong> using all the options the platform filter offers, so you can create very specific audiences..<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2757 <strong>Important:<\/strong> There&#8217;s a <strong>difference between total subscribers and email subscribers<\/strong>; the latter have <strong>given permission to send them information to their email<\/strong> addresses, not just through push notifications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Types of segmentation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>On the platform, there are <strong>two ways to segment<\/strong>. We have the option to &#8220;<strong>Add filter<\/strong>&#8221; and the option to &#8220;<strong>Add condition<\/strong>&#8220;:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"743\" height=\"322\" src=\"https:\/\/es.notificationbutton.com\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/image-62.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2805\" srcset=\"https:\/\/icortex.ai\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/image-62.png 743w, https:\/\/icortex.ai\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/image-62-300x130.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 743px) 100vw, 743px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>If filters are selected from the &#8220;<strong>Add filter<\/strong>&#8221; <strong>option (purple + button)<\/strong>, the audience is <strong>narrowed down more and more<\/strong> each time. In other words, the audience <strong>has to meet all the conditions<\/strong> to receive the notification. You can customize them, but <strong>the platform also generates automatic tags<\/strong>.
